Stage 01 of the revenue motion · The Build

Twelve weeks. Then we leave.

The Build is the foundational stage: the category and POV, the asset library, the Selling 7 videos, the Big 5 pages, the readiness scorecard. What we ship, week by week. What your team does. What "done" actually looks like. Most clients then layer Video on top to keep the engine fed, and bring in Training once pipeline gets thick enough to need it.

01

Diagnose & Position · Weeks 1-2

Map the pipeline math. Find the two leaks. Lock the category, POV, and manifesto your reps will speak to on camera.

02

Build · Weeks 3-10

The Selling 7 videos shot. The Big 5 pages written. The diagnostic tool live. The site that does the work.

03

Hand off · Weeks 11-12

Your reps own the camera. Your team owns the publishing rhythm. We sit in for the first 90 days, then we leave.

Phase 01

Diagnose & Position

Weeks 1-2

Two pieces of work run in parallel for the first two weeks. The diagnosis names the math, the leak, and the bet. The positioning work names the category you'll own, the POV the asset library will hang from, and the manifesto the founder is willing to defend on camera. Everything in weeks 3 through 12 is downstream of this work. If we get it wrong here, the rest of the engagement compounds the mistake.

The Category 5

Al Ramadan's Play Bigger logic, applied to a $10-25M sales-driven company. Five artifacts, all signed off by the founder before production starts.

  • POV document. One page. What we believe, what we're against, what changes if we're right.
  • Category name. The from/to repositioning, in language the buyer already recognizes. Not jargon. Not a feature list.
  • Manifesto page. Public-facing, signed by the founder, lives at /manifesto. The thing your competitors will quote even when they disagree with it.
  • Lightning Strike plan. The dated launch moment (conference talk, public report, event) that crystallizes the category for buyers and press.
  • Language doc. The words and phrases your team uses internally. Includes a forbidden-terms list.

The diagnosis

  • Cost-per-qualified-meeting calculation, current state
  • Hours-per-rep-per-week on prospecting, current state
  • The two pipeline leaks that will respond to on-camera content
  • The Selling 7 production plan, sequenced by buyer urgency and aligned to the new POV
  • One-page diagnosis document, signed off by founder + head of sales

What you ship

  • 30 minutes per rep for current-state interviews
  • Read access to your CRM for last-quarter pipeline review
  • Three 90-minute working sessions with the founder for category and POV work
  • One on-camera commitment from the founder for the hero video
  • Final sign-off on the category name and manifesto before week 3 starts

Phase 02

Build the engine

Weeks 3-10

Eight weeks. The output is an asset library, not a content calendar. The calendar becomes self-evident once the assets exist. Two production days per week, on-site or remote. The rep is on camera, not the marketing team.

The Selling 7: what gets shot

VideoWhat it does
Cost & priceFounder explains the pricing math in 90 seconds. Lives on /pricing.
The 80% videoThe eight questions every first call answers, answered once on the page.
Product / service-fitThe on-camera version of "not for." Use the disqualifier as the script.
Landing-page video60-second hero. Replaces the static manifesto opener.
Customer-journey videoThree minutes of what working with you looks like, week by week.
Bio videoFounder's story. One-take walk-and-talk. The "why this exists" version on camera.
The claims we makeDefend your strongest claims on camera. The ones that scare your competitors to read.

The Big 5: what gets written

Five pages buyers research before they ever fill out a form. Each one shipped with an embedded video and an honest answer:

  • Pricing: the math, not a number
  • Problems: the eight objections in your buyer's head, answered
  • Comparisons: vs. CMO, vs. agency, vs. SDR firm, vs. status quo
  • Reviews: what a fit looks like, what isn't, what was hard, what changed
  • Best-in-class: honest lists that make you the reference point

Phase 03

Hand off

Weeks 11-12, plus 90 days

We don't want to be your agency. We want to leave behind a system your team runs without us. The handoff is where we earn the manifesto.

What handoff looks like

  • The publishing rhythm document: who shoots what, when, on what platform
  • The on-camera coaching playbook for adding more reps later
  • Quarterly Endless Customers re-score, with us in the room for the first one
  • A weekly 30-minute call with us for 90 days after handoff. Drop-in for questions, problems, or course corrections (then it stops; no auto-renew)

If, 12 months in, you still need us, we did it wrong.

"In addition to closing sales more smoothly, Matt helped us learn to nurture our relationships with clients better up front, so we're in a better position to deal with issues during the project. Several projects exceeded our profit projections, something we'd been unable to achieve consistently over the years."
