You're not hiring an agency.
You're hiring me.

Matt Pinckley. Chris Richardson and Sveta Blyudaya help me behind the scenes with production and research, and neither of them will ever be the one on your call, writing your scripts, or sitting with your reps when they can't get through a take. That's me, every time. No account manager between us, and nobody junior learning on your money.

Me on every call.  ·  Named clients.  ·  A published list of who this is wrong for.

Matt Pinckley

Forty years in sales, twenty of them teaching people to be believed, pointed at the place buyers check first.

I've spent forty years in sales, the last twenty of them teaching salespeople to be trusted in a room. Not tricks, not scripts they recite. The disciplined work of understanding another person well enough to be useful to them, which is what actually makes someone believe you.

Then the room stopped being where it happens. By the time a buyer meets your rep, they've already decided most of it, alone, on your site, at night, with three of your competitors open in other tabs. All that trust work I'd been teaching was arriving too late to matter.

So this is the same craft moved upstream. Same question as always, just asked earlier: what would make a skeptical person believe you, and is it anywhere they can find it before they talk to you.

"His technique truly develops the whole person, and his background in human psychology makes him uniquely qualified. He does for us. He can for you."

John Fox, Fractional CTO

The opinions this company is built on.

You should know what you're buying into. If you disagree with most of these, we'd be a bad fit and you'd resent the invoice.

People buy people.

Not brands, not messaging frameworks. A buyer decides about a human, then justifies it with the logic your site gave them.

Hiding the price is a confession.

It says you're worried the number can't survive contact with the value. Buyers hear that instantly.

Diagnosis before prescription.

A doctor who prescribes before examining is committing malpractice. Most marketing vendors do it on the first call.

Saying no is a sales tool.

Naming who you're wrong for is the fastest way to be believed by the people you're right for.

Empathy is a skill, not a mood.

It's the disciplined act of modeling someone's situation accurately enough to be useful. It can be taught and it can be measured.

You should never be locked in.

The work is built to be handed over. If you come back for training, new scripts, or a fresh category read, it should be because you want the next thing, not because I kept the keys. Dependency is a business model, and it's not this one.

Go ask them.

Every person here is on LinkedIn with their real title, and every recommendation is dated. These are endorsements of Matt's sales-training and coaching work over the years — the craft the Training is built on. That's the standard we'll hold your proof to, so it's the standard here.

"I am in my ninth year as principal of an IT shop and I have had my share of business consultants. Every deal that Matt has touched has resulted in a win, and positioned our relationships with clients for more predictable profits. What sets Matt apart is not his tool set. It's him. He re-teaches the lesson we always forget: your clients are buying you."

Michael Liskow, Founder · 2012

"Matt was an utmost help to the Itransition salesforce. Every single student claimed improvement in personal and professional performance, as well as better understanding of the decision making and negotiation processes."

Denis Kostusev, Itransition · 2016

"To describe Matt as just a sales trainer doesn't do him justice. He intuitively understands the part each person needs, then tailors it. I'm a better salesperson because of him, and a better person as well."

Greg Steinig, VP of Sales · 2012

"Matt is a true professional with a flexible and unconventional mindset. The willingness to dive into the problem and evaluate it from different angles, as well as the ability to understand the psychology of people, has saved many situations."

Oleg Grimashevich, Oxagile · 2023

"If sales training, sales coaching, or having him help you hire salespeople is what you need, Matt is worth every penny."

Andrew Hollamon, D'Mention Systems · 2012

"His technique truly develops the whole person, and his background in human psychology makes him uniquely qualified. He does for us. He can for you."

John Fox, Fractional CTO · 2012

"He has completely changed my vision of sales and relationship nurturing and helped me lay the ground for my new approach."

Kate Pioryshkina, Account Manager · 2016

"Matt is personable and gets the best results out of you, based on your character and strengths. He is humble and will help you understand what goals are realistic and achievable."

Jamar Jordan, Enrolled Agent · 2012

"What Matt teaches is not only about sales, it's about self-improvement, self-motivation and self-discipline."

Anastasia Barysenkava, Client · 2015

I'd rather lose the deal here than on week four.

If one of these is you, close the tab. I mean that, and it costs me real money to say it.

See if I'm the right call.

Forty-five minutes with me, not a qualifier. Bring your numbers and the thing that's been bothering you. If I'm wrong for it, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.
